An underside inspection can reveal visible warning signs that deserve further investigation, including corrosion, fluid residue, damaged mounts and evidence of earlier repairs.
Photograph the concern and its location, then ask a qualified specialist what additional inspection or testing is needed. A tidy underside does not establish that hidden cavities, structure or mechanical systems are sound. Fresh coating can also limit what you can see. Combine the underside review with service records, vehicle identification and a professional pre-purchase inspection. Before using a lift, make sure the vehicle’s condition and lifting points are suitable. One inspection cannot promise a complete diagnosis.
