Collect a clear baseline before choosing suspension parts.
Record the vehicle’s exact configuration, current wheel and tire details, ride-height reference points specified by the supplier, and visible clearance concerns. Photograph mounting areas and note previous modifications, intended use and the loaded condition in which measurements were taken. A wheel hanging on a lift does not show normal ride height, and a static gap does not prove clearance through full travel and steering. Have a qualified specialist review geometry, component compatibility and the required checks using the vehicle and kit instructions. Do not disassemble springs or change supports just to gather planning measurements.
