Start with a documented view of the vehicle’s existing layout and the intended exhaust system.
Record the space around crossmembers, driveline parts, suspension, fuel and brake lines, the floor and nearby heat-sensitive components. Photograph the proposed route and note hanger locations, existing modifications and the information your exhaust supplier needs. A clearance seen on a lift may change when the vehicle is at ride height or the suspension moves. Confirm the design and required heat protection with the applicable vehicle and component instructions. Do not choose pipe size, spacing or supports from a generic video. Plan first, then order compatible parts.
